Cable ducts are versatile and can be used in virtually any location, not just in the rail sector. A fine example of this can be found at the Hopper Youth Centre in Belgium.

Hopper is an organisation that focuses on youth work and youth centres, where many children and young people gather every day for activities, camps and training courses. Safety is, of course, the top priority here.

As there are large numbers of young people present every day, it was important that the cabling was concealed safely, clearly and neatly. This project was carried out in 2023, at a time when we were still using a different type of cable duct. At the time, the cable trays were supplied in black as standard, which differs from the current standard colour, grey. However, the design of the cable tray has remained the same. This means that new cable runs can simply be connected to this older type.

Even without experience in the rail sector or with cable trays, these systems are easy to install and use. The end result is sleek, safe and very neat. Exactly what is needed for a location that sees a lot of footfall every day.
