Our roots: Born out of critical infrastructure
Electropoint was founded in response to a clear need in the market. As a subsidiary of Heatpoint – a well-established and trusted name in the Dutch rail industry for decades – we identified a growing demand for integrated electrical engineering solutions within the rail sector and beyond. Clients are not looking for an individual technician or contractor, but for a partner who can take the entire project off their hands and is involved throughout the whole process. Electropoint responds to this by offering comprehensive solutions: from engineering and design to implementation and handover. We actively contribute ideas and speak the language of Systems Engineering. Our primary focus is on rail infrastructure, where reliability and continuity are crucial. Building on this solid foundation, we also support our clients in other sectors with the same high standards and a hands-off approach.

Electropoint is the leading specialist in business-critical electrical installations. We have brought in-house the specific expertise required to manage the entire process under one roof. Drawing on our experience in the safe integration of heating systems, we now design, build and certify complete low-voltage distribution systems, advanced PLC (climate) control systems and turnkey prefabricated installations. From our site in De Meern, we now work with a dedicated team of engineers, panel builders and fitters. Our background in the railway sector has shaped our corporate culture: we know better than anyone that ‘good enough’ is simply not an option when it comes to the Netherlands’ infrastructure. Safety, reliability and demonstrable quality are paramount in everything we do. That is why we work strictly in accordance with the NEN-EN-IEC 61439 standards for our switchboard construction and are proud to be ISO 9001 certified.
