Tailor-made solutions in motion

Cable ducts are often associated with railway projects, but they have a much wider range of applications. A good example of this is SPIE’s project at the Kuinre lock.

Due to the lock’s circular shape, bespoke solutions were required. The cable ducts were adapted and fitted with a smooth curve to follow the lock’s contours as closely as possible. This requires precision and craftsmanship and demonstrates how flexibly this solution can be applied, even in complex situations.

Work was still in full swing during our first visit in the autumn of 2025. In the summer of 2026, we were in the area and couldn’t resist popping in to take a look at the project, which had by then been completed. It’s always a pleasure to return to a site and see that the installation work still looks just as neat and tidy as it did on the day of handover. That is precisely the standard we strive for.
